Location: Pittsburgh, PA - Department: Laboratory Operations: ChemoFx

As a ChemoFx Clinical Laboratory Technologist II in a high complexity laboratory, an individual is expected to participate in the day-to-day operational activities of the Helomics ChemoFx laboratory. This includes all aspects of chemoresponse testing, including but not limited to, preparation of microtiter plates, anticancer agent treatment and removal, immunocytochemistry, processing of specimens, maintenance of primary cell cultures, and operating lab computers for data entry and analysis. A Clinical Laboratory Technologist II will be expected to work more independently on routine assignments and participate in team based projects in quality improvement and further development of the assay.

As an IHC Technologist I in a high complexity laboratory, an individual is expected to participate in the day-to-day operational activities of the Helomics IHC laboratory.  This includes performance of standard histological tasks, including grossing, embedding, microtomy and staining procedures. 

 

The technologist will also be expected to interface cross-departmentally with the Clinical Information Management and Client Services groups to ensure the execution of the correct testing for all patients.  Additionally, an IHC Technologist I will be expected to participate in laboratory improvement activities and development projects.

As a Molecular Technologist II in a high complexity laboratory, an individual is expected to participate in the day-to-day operational activities of the Helomics molecular laboratory.  This includes performance of a variety of tasks related to molecular biology, including but not limited to, microdissection, DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, and Affymetrix processing.  Additionally, work with laboratory automation is required. 

 

The technologist will be expected to successfully interface cross-departmentally with the Clinical Information Management and Client Services groups to ensure the execution of the correct testing for all patients.  Additionally, a Molecular Technologist II will be expected to participate in process improvement through project management, as well as assist with validation and development projects, when necessary.

The Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to develop value-added programs and services that support and enhance the live tissue platform and biomarker value propositions.  They will bring expertise and credibility to peer-to-peer interactions with healthcare professionals, in addition to serving as a support resource to the Sales team, Physicians and Patients.  The PMM will develop and deliver product/service sales tools, training and education programs and will serve as marketing support resource for the platform. The PMM will work in concert with customer facing teams including Sales Training, MSL’s, Field Sales, Medical Affairs and other departments as identified to develop and upgrade sales materials, training for both existing and new products, implement clinical brand strategies and ensure a best in class programs.

A collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual and family's comprehensive health needs through communication and available resources to promote quality cost effective outcomes.
