Helomics is a Personalized Healthcare company located in Pittsburgh, PA. Our mission is to improve the standard of care for cancer patients (especially those with gynecological cancers) through a precision medicine approach that harnesses the patient's own tumor to help guide therapy. Through innovative research and development partnerships with pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology, and academic organizations, we are also developing the next generation of technologies for a more personalized and precision approach to oncology. Helomics’ CLIA-certified lab provides a panel of clinical molecular and drug response testing that provides an evidence-based road-map for therapy for the oncologist to guide personalized treatment decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Looking to use your clinical knowledge and ability in a unique way to develop relationships with healthcare professionals to explore a new career path?  We are seeking motivated Registered Nurses (RN) looking to leverage their clinical skill set to begin a different opportunity in clinical sales.  This is a contractual position requiring a commitment of fifteen to twenty hours per month. 

The RN consultant will be central in building relationships with gynecologic oncologists beginning with outreach to previous users of our clinical tests.  The RN Consultant will lead this outreach effort, working closely under the direction of clinical sales within the geography, to map out the territory, and secure meetings to introduce our Precision Oncology Insights platform.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree – Nursing (Required)​


  • Required Skills:

  • Capable of committing fifteen to twenty hours per month to conduct outreach to oncologists by phone and email.  

  • Exceptional clinical competence.

  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in an organization.

  • Capable of building strong working relationships with internal/external customers.

  • Accustomed to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks.

  • Strong sense of urgency.

  • Ability to travel occasionally within assigned region and/or outside of assigned region.
